A Gentle Reminder: Be Kind to Yourself and Others
Lately, it feels like many of us are carrying a heavy emotional load. From seasonal depression to the stress of a new year, combined with the weight of traumatic events in the news, it is understandable to feel overwhelmed. It is okay to not be okay. While our feelings are valid, we must also be mindful of how we respond to them. Taking a step back, unplugging when needed, and practicing self-care can help us navigate difficult times. Just as we should be kind to ourselves, we should also extend grace to others. Everyone is fighting battles we may not see. Let’s move through this season with compassion and mindfulness for ourselves and for those around us.
