Welcome to Healing Journey Counseling Center!
Healing Journey Counseling Center is a group therapy practice of contracted therapists located in Monroe, Louisiana, that provides a safe space for teens and millennials. Although we specialize in working with teens and millennials, we work with adults of all ages in-person in Northeast Louisiana and telehealth for residents of Louisiana and Texas.
We provide compassionate, non-judgmental, and trusting environment. Because we believe that therapy is unique and individualize, we utilize different therapy approaches that fit your needs. We want women to know that you do not have to carry the “strong woman” narrative and men to know that it is okay to talk about your mental health needs. We will work to build a rapport with you to create a trusting environment. We will allow you to vent and provide you with support. We believe that you are the expert of your life and will assist you with navigating through your healing journey.
Our Services
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy gives an individual a chance to meet individually with one of our therapist therapist based on their needs.
Family Therapy
We understand how some issues affect not only the individual but the family as a whole. We offer family therapy to address concerns and/or issues impacting the individual and/or family dynamics and functioning.
Group Therapy
We will begin group therapy Spring 2026 for both teens and millennials. Group therapy will give those a chances to be around others with similar issues. Our group topics will include meditation, self-esteem, parenting, substance abuse, depression, boundaries, relationships issues, and much more.
Telehealth
We understand that many are unable to come in person for various reasons. We offer video session for anyone located in Louisiana and Texas via a HIPAA compliant platform.

At Healing Journey Counseling Center, we accept most major insurance plans as well as Louisiana Medicaid. Please be aware that coverage for mental health services varies by plan, and it is your responsibility to confirm your benefits. If you choose to use insurance, your rate will be determined by your policy, and any copays or coinsurance are due at the time of your session.
